In the Season 2007/2008 Nicis career really starts and she made no less than 4 medals at the junior World Champion ship in Altenmarkt / Zauchensee. 2 of 4 medals were in gold which means she was 2 times word champion. In the coming years good results followed. But anyway, the real breakthrough didn’t happen so far. Therefore it happened in this season 2012/13. At the Worldcup Super G in Cortina, she reached the second place which was really a big surprise and the final entry to the top of the world. With the 12th place at the World Championship in Schladming she was second best Austrian and with the 8th place in Garmisch, she confirmed that she belongs to the top of the world.
